The municipal term of Reinosa is located in center geographic of the valley of Campoo, in the confluence of the main rivers of the valley (Ebro, Híjar and Izarilla) and of the main routes of communication that cross the territory.

By their location, in the South zone of Cantabria, their costumary streets have that mixture and own aspect of the zones limit between two Communities, Castile and Cantabria. Also, its climate has many characteristics of the typical climatic continentalidad of the Castilian plateau, but clarified with some influence of the Atlantic climate and mountain specially in the precipitation regime, then, however, the dividing one with the Cantabrian slope is very near.
